Ambassadors

A Partnership for Good…

Ambassadors serve as a link between the Foundation and individual school communities – as well as our Bellingham community at large. Ambassadors bring information about the unique needs of the stakeholders they represent and reciprocate by sharing back the activities and mission of the Foundation.

BECOME A FOUNDATION AMBASSADOR:

Apply HERE!
WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Anyone who loves public education and wants to serve our students such as parents or guardians, high school students, staff and communitiy members can serve as an Ambassador.

This year, we are hoping to have more student voices be part of the program!

WHAT AM I COMMITTING TO?

We know from past experience that a committment to the program is what creates the most meaningful experience.

TIME COMMITMENT: Three evening meetings a year (childcare and dinner provided) plus a committment to supporting a collabortative project. Last year’s Ambassadors launched the first annual $10,000 Think BIG Challenge for high school clubs.

TERM: One year (opportunity to serve a second term)

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

By partnering together, we can ensure the Foundation better serves students through their entire school career, from elementary to high school.

Ambassadors  will gain a deeper understanding of the diverse needs and challenges of students across the district, form an understanding of how non-profits function, and work collaboratively on an annual project.
